NPLACE houses a NCW laboratory to test new concepts and established systems in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
The primary lab, located in Fairmont, West Virginia, is supplemented by a mirror lab
located at the Air Force Electronics Systems Center at Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts.
Utilizing IBM’s WebSphere environment, the Lab develops deployable SOA systems for use in tactical Network Centric Operations.
